Medicare & Health Fund Rebates

Medicare rebates are available for psychological treatment of eligible mental health conditions as determined by your GP.  You will be able to claim a proportion of your fees from Medicare if your doctor assesses you to be eligible. Medicare will reimburse up to $129.55 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. In order to claim a rebate please bring a written referral letter and a copy of your "Mental Health Treatment Plan" from your doctor. Alternatively, a portion of your fees may be redeemable from your private health fund, however rebate entitlements vary according to specific policies and can be clarified directly with your fund.

Fees are available upon request. As this is not a bulk billing practice please be advised that there will be an out of pocket cost or 'gap payment' for all appointments. Payment is to be made at the time of each appointment by cash, debit or credit card. Payment for telehealth appointments is by credit card or direct deposit.

Cancellations

As appointments are limited, and a cancellation list is in operation, a minimum of 48 hours notice is requested to change or cancel appointments for any reason, otherwise a cancellation fee will be charged. The cancellation fee is 100% of the full appointment fee for less than 24 hours notice, or 50% of the full appointment fee for less than 48 hours notice. Cancelled appointments are not covered by Medicare, health funds or other insurers.
